I was going through some of my old paintings today and I found a portrait I did of the Crimson King 7 years ago. It was very painful to look at.
(IN THIS NEXT PARAGRAPH I AM NO WAY STATING I AM ANYWHERE NEAR THE PERFECTION THAT WAS FRANK FRAZETTA!)
I can now understand why years later Frank Frazetta would look at his earlier works and paint right over them on the canvas. Lucky (or unlucky depending on how you look at it) some of my work is digital and I can save the old version separate from the new version in a different file.
